Why it works
Narration covers 80% of the film, so its 26 hard cuts follow new clauses while moving images keep the 2.30 s median shot alive. The frame-75 switch from giant subject to archer renews the opening, and shots 23–27 narrow from a hidden location to a glowing relic before the measured fade begins around frame 1939.
