Why it works
The first sentence gives the deadly consequence by 0:06, while the simple contest rule and the failed number system are unfolded through a TV, cap, document and computer graphics until 1:53. Exact numbers turn the dispute into a visible contrast, and the most-replayed 3:01–3:05 span pairs the stated human cost with crowd footage and a headline.
