Why it works
The first cut waits until 0:11.7 while a moving excavation view and immediate narration create a physical mystery. A healed injury at about 0:35 and a wider reversal by 0:48 establish the rule visually; the most-replayed 5:31–5:35 moment makes the once-useful device unreachable during the final fall. The 2:51–3:45 action sequence and last minute pull back on narration so the visual stakes can carry the story.
