Why it works
The 106-frame opening holds an airborne body apart from its floor shadow, making a wordless physical mystery before the 0.54-second median-shot montage. Hand-drawn rings recur in the overhead action of shot 50, while the readable group and floorwork passages in shots 21 and 31–40 turn fragments into a social skill payoff. The last picture starts at frame 1389 and fades toward black from about frame 1395.
