Why it works
The opening holds the presenting line until an internal hard cut at frame 47, then waits until frame 90 for live action. Shots 2–9 pair focused portraits with matched light and dark footwear; only 13% of the film contains speech, so the two short lines become a payoff rather than an explanation. Shot 19 clears the picture into a stark identity card and ends without a fade.
