Why it works
The first frame shows one of five figures attracting a swarm, then the 20%/95% statistic at 0:03–0:09 proves the disparity without needing a title card. Three familiar signals are taught and shown to be insufficient before the less visible fourth is revealed around 1:41; the exception at 2:25 coincides with the strongest replay peak at 2:24.8–2:26.7. Sparse black doodles and one accent color per mechanism make the 21 in-scene additions easy to follow despite only 12 cuts in 3:12.
