Why it works
The first three seconds turn a seven-year statistic into a red bracket between two figures, making the stakes instantly legible. A visible counterexample at 0:29–0:44 replaces the obvious explanation; from 1:15–2:40, the same chromosome icons carry two numbered mechanisms and a split-screen synthesis. The 25 internal graphic changes make one 180-second animated scene feel progressive without relying on cuts.
