Why it works
The painted coast establishes a mystery before the narrator asks the research question at 0:46–0:53. A tangible tin-trade clue at 1:47–2:21 coincides with the excerpt’s strongest replay peak at 1:50–2:01, while animated maps from 2:37 onward make routes and uncertainty visible. The source is an 18:24 episode; only the first six minutes were measured.
