Why it works
The opening puts a year on the Paris image within 0.65 seconds, introduces a $1 million stake by about 0:13, then narrows seven open problems to one solved case by 0:19. Simple 3D imagery around 0:27 and paper screenshots at 1:19 and 5:12 give the narration visible anchors; the 4:05–4:12 theory handoff is the strongest replayed moment. The measured excerpt is six minutes of a longer episode, so its later payoff is outside the evidence.
