Why it works
The map keeps a fixed visual language while 21 internal overlay changes attach units, forts, threats, and a rising count to the narration; the lack of hard cuts preserves geographic orientation across 102.8 seconds. A 20,000–30,000 troop reveal around 1:01–1:03 leads to a wider frontier comparison at 1:12, then a political consequence at 1:38–1:42; the largest replay peak is at 1:39.9–1:40.9.
