Why it works
The first specimen remains on a fixed field through frame 119 while its silhouette changes on twos, so the viewer can compare each missing piece. Six shot cuts reset colour and form, while hard cuts at frames 324 and 730 create two extra surprises inside the longest beats. No measured on-screen text competes with the small transformations.
