Why it works
The film withholds place through black, fabric, moving leaf and grit in its first 3.04 seconds, then changes scale again before the voice enters at 10.56 seconds. Shot 24's ×2.68 push hides a hard cut at frame 1265, making a child's gaze a visual hand-off; the dense reprise in shots 131–162 earns the fade beginning at frame 5259.
