Why it works
The rendered ocean is on screen from 0:00, but the question arrives at 0:30–0:32, letting viewers inspect the result before hearing the challenge. The 1:05–1:23 tiling defect and 2:19–2:47 contrast between a 650-wave limit and 4.2 million waves at 150 FPS make an abstract shader problem concrete. The measured excerpt changes picture 29.2 times per minute while alternating proof, diagrams, presenter and jokes.
