Why it works
The uncut 0:00–0:09.2 moderator setup poses a contested long-term judgment, and the most-replayed opening moment lands as the two sides are named at 0:07.8–0:09.1. A fast, claim-matched visual run from 0:09–0:35 contrasts infrastructure with human hardship, then the edit slows for a question, brief answer, and rebuttal at 1:29–1:40; 41 of 65 cuts occur in the first 40 seconds.
