Why it works
A tiny moving marker on a cyan sea map makes the missing submarine easy to track from 0:08, while the narrator escalates from one strange contact to a fleet-wide threat by 2:50. The policy shift at 2:59–3:07 is the strongest replayed point in the analysed excerpt; a torpedo near miss at 4:52–5:19 gives the spatial story a physical payoff. The measured one-shot result conflicts with visible scene changes, so it does not describe the actual editing pace.
