Why it works
The first-person claim starts at 0.74 s over a landmark and centered title, establishing place and stakes before the first three seconds end. Shot 8 carries a lateral city-to-athlete reveal, while route proof in shots 23–30 earns the personal close-up in shot 34. The picture then fades from about frame 1382 rather than holding a static logo to the end.
