Why it works
The opening carries a real wrist action across the continuous frame-23 boundary, then cuts to a second person at frame 40, moving from product proof to human stakes within 1.67 seconds. Sparse narration covers 45% of the film, so the internal changes at frames 112, 133, 206, 455, 530 and 622 keep the longer measured shots active. The outdoor expansion in shot 10 and physical payoff in shot 11 lead into a card at frame 677 as the picture fades from about frame 674.
