Why it works
Shot 1 slowly doubles a tiny central interview image over 8.3 seconds, so the full-width road at frame 254 feels like a release. The work passage in shot 17 keeps attention through three internal cuts at frames 806, 828 and 841 while speech ties preparation to performance. The last spoken phrase resolves over shot 51, then the image and sound recede through the road and card.
