Why it works
The 166-frame near-black opening postpones the first workspace, while shot 3 packs five internal hard cuts into a 266-frame setup. The narrated turn opens a relay of physical small marks, then nine short shots at 57.80–61.16 s compress that idea before the 138-frame end-card shot. The cue sheet has no reliable pulse, so words and picture changes carry the timing.
