Why it works
The 0:08–0:45 battle vignette establishes the opposing forces and stakes with moving unit blocks before the 0:45 map zoom gives geographic context. A consistent system of territory colours, portrait standards and troop tokens explains each new place; the 1:57–2:08 map sequence around the local reversal is the measured replay peak. The fast 3:44–4:00 sponsor montage briefly changes the visual rhythm before the campaign map returns at 4:39.
