Why it works
The opening's frame-42 cut and frame-81 jump make a plain slab progressively legible while withholding the product. Shots 2–8 trade distant silhouettes for lit details, and the luma drop from shot 1's 0.51 mean to shots 4–5's 0.08 sustains mystery until the staged text payoff at 23.08 s.
