Why it works
The film makes the old friction physical before narration: a connector close-up changes to an empty wet site at frame 68, while the first measured shot boundary waits until frame 190. The low-status passage in shot 13 makes the cost specific; short shots 14–25 then release into the 360-frame product payoff in shot 26, where a verified claim has room to register.
