Why it works
A wordless illustrated air-combat scene occupies the opening 20 seconds, with four cuts in the first ten seconds, before the narrator frames the overlooked viewpoint. Maps, character scenes, object close-ups and diagrams turn the historical argument into changing visual evidence; the strongest replay peak at 2:17–2:28 aligns with the flag-and-map chapter restart. The measured six minutes include a long sponsor interruption and are only the opening of a longer episode.
