Why it works
The 902-frame dialogue hold in shot 5 gives the maker's conflict enough time to register before the film switches to tactile object rhythm at 37.27 s. A colour form travels from prop scale to the city through the continuous 19-frame hand-off into shot 26 and the 4-frame flash into shot 43; shots 84–91 then return to the person before the 113-frame card.
