Why it works
The 0.77 s opening card makes a clear promise before shot 2's uncanny desert scale, and shots 8–11 compress a single creature action into 0.73, 0.40, 0.60 and 0.33 s without visible cuts at their internal boundaries. The long action progression in shots 29–40 gives way to warm close-ups in shots 42–45 and a 6.23 s black card, making the ending feel resolved.
