Why it works
The room reveals by about frame 11, then the thought bubble grows at 2.27–2.60 s before the first feed cut at frame 119. Four fast palette changes and shot 6's 87% in-shot vertical handoff keep the anthology moving, while shot 8's ×2.21 nested-phone push makes the final message feel earned.
