Why it works
The first 10.96 s establish a real social contest before any impossible action, so later effects have a human point of comparison. Shot lengths compress to 0.33–0.92 s in the escalation around 70–84 s, then reopen for the scale reveal in shot 71 and the 6.33 s reaction in shot 74. The single proposition appears only in the final 104-frame shot.
