Why it works
A familiar restaurant conversation begins under an unexplained interface frame, with the oversized name introduced by the hidden hard cut at f42. Shot 13 holds the social tension for 345 frames while three internal cuts change perspective; the physical contradiction then drives the red interface state in shots 15–17. The measured 57% speech coverage and absence of a reliable pulse make dialogue and reactions, rather than a music grid, control the timing.
