Why it works
The question is explicit by 1:03–1:09, after a CPU-and-device map establishes the parts. From 2:22 to 4:19, a keyboard matrix gains highlighted wires, gates and an output one step at a time; the rule then transfers to a hard drive at 5:13–5:56. The 5:37.9–5:52 disk passage is a replay peak in the analysed six minutes, though viewer comments challenge parts of that simplification.
