Why it works
The first three seconds withhold the picture before the worker and machine appear, making their relationship the central question. Internal hard cuts at f455, f617 and f641 add new perspectives within long measured shots, while the physical convergence in shot 4 pays off the earlier portraits and machine details. The late light drop at f1919, signoff and black fifth shot give the narration room to resolve.
