Why it works
The identity changes to a dark mystery at 1.77 s, and 46 shots repeatedly replace location and action while brief dialogue leaves the pictures in charge. The split proof in shots 22–28 makes cooperation visible; shot 45 then gives the launch answer 151 frames of reading time.
