Why it works
The 288-frame waterline opening makes a continuous physical reveal, with a 20-frame focus pull at f94, before the first cut. The delayed title in shot 6 and the shift into house and family evidence in shots 12–36 give the final community statement over shots 37–41 a specific meaning. The measured 40 hard cuts and one continuous boundary let spoken phrases, rather than a beat grid, carry the 161-second film.
