Why it works
The film jumps from black into a seven-frame flash at frame 3, making the costumed centrepiece legible before the personal opening line. A 311-frame shot 4 stays active through travelling performers, a measured pan and an internal hard cut at frame 416; shots 7–9 then repeat the choice from overhead, character-forward and chorus views. The warm full-cast shot begins at frame 1280 and remains visible to the end.
