Why it works
The f3 internal cut replaces a tiny mark with an empty editor, so the visible command sets up the first result in shot 2. Shot 3's f507 internal cut pays that setup off with a complete scene, while shots 6–12 accelerate into contrasting applications. Only 3 of 13 measured boundaries sit near a beat, showing that picture events drive the edit.
