Why it works
The opening holds a distant world through frame 150 while internal cuts at frames 115 and 142 quietly turn it darker. A compressed rupture at shots 3–8 gives way to real side-scrolling proof, and shot 14's feature cues at frames 915, 966 and 1000 make the update concrete before the clean final action. The closing image starts fading around frame 1237, giving the film a deliberate exit.
