Why it works
The first cut waits until frame 124 while moving light makes a near-black contour readable, creating a visual question without copy. The material sequence uses dark dips and hidden changes inside shot 6 before shot 8's circular pullout resolves continuously into the five-variant lineup at frame 1032. The v1 replay peak at 34.4–34.9 seconds coincides with that payoff.
