Why it works
A 26-frame direct-address hook switches to a contrasting character at frame 26, giving the disagreement a face before explaining it. Shot 12's empty room makes the mistaken assumption visible, then the repeated doorway in shots 27–30 turns the crowded reveal into a direct visual answer. Exact-time inserts and the four 4-frame white photo entries make the long wait and final reward easy to follow.
