Why it works
The opening withholds the full object until the first external boundary at f286, while a concealed hard cut at f50 refreshes the image. Shots 7–11 compress into five short component views, then shot 12's daylight entrance produces the measured +0.26 luma step near 41 s. A single last shot carries the side drive into a quiet identity field.
