Why it works
The case insert at frame 144 and earbud use before frame 470 make the sudden stage reveal feel earned. Shot 3 changes the visual world on a hard cut, while the 1.83-second median and long shot 16 let the performance accelerate and then resolve. The final 2-frame flash, 11-frame dip and fade from frame 1471 make the sign-off precise.
