Why it works
The profile emerges from black by about frame 45 before the first cut at frame 145, making the person a question rather than an introduction. Shots 7–12 compress process evidence near the measured 0.67 brightness peak at 22.8 seconds, while shot 41 resolves the montage in a group portrait before the 52-frame closing fade begins at frame 1591.
