Why it works
The 0:18–0:33 fragmented opening poses a mystery before the chronological account starts at 0:56. White line-art cabin and route diagrams make spatial facts readable, while red isolates the active person, path, or mechanism from 1:21 through 4:07. The written demands and cabin handoff at 2:03–2:21 coincide with a replay peak; the empty cabin and stair reveal at 4:35–5:02 turn absence into the payoff.
