The completed illusion occupies shot 1 through frame 173 while the spoken question waits until about 2.64 s, making the first hard cut at frame 174 a true reversal. Five hidden cuts inside shot 5 and the short shots 6–13 make the practical process tactile; the raw set in shot 19 earns the return to the finished scene at frame 2247.
