Why it works
One continuous 484-frame shot uses camera movement to establish the barrier and both roles before the wall effect; there is no cut to conceal the trick. The aperture appears around 8 s, the actor crosses it around 10 s, and the witness reaction and final return to bars supply two more visual payoffs. Sparse cues support the picture without a steady beat.
