Why it works
A mechanical opening delays the full reveal until the first shot boundary at frame 480, giving the premise scale. The apparent improvement of shots 5–9 is overturned by harm evidence in shots 10–14; the clustered subsecond shots 19–27 make the rewind physical before the alternative decision in shots 29–38.
