Why it works
The opening runs 218 frames before its first cut, giving the imaginary flow time to register. A 12-frame dip at frame 504 turns obstruction into a visible loss of light; shots 12–17 compress the capability run before the 469-frame return in shot 18 and a clear white end card at frame 2171.
