Why it works
The opening field is already reacting at frame 0, so a 218-frame shot stays active without a cut. The cut at frame 218 switches to a nearly black, small-mark application, and the cut at frame 482 returns to the bright field for a 47-frame bookend. The silent picture makes the pointer and material response the explanation.
