Why it works
A 243-frame near-dark skyline hold gives the late window-light build room to matter without adding a cut. At frame 243 the mean luma jumps from about 0.07 to 0.36, replacing the unresolved image with a large, readable event card; the 19-word narration supplies the bridge.
