Why it works
The moving prize and title establish the contest before the first cut at frame 79. Five clean cuts then carry the viewer from rule to ranking to reward, while the night-to-day reset in shot 5 prepares the real product reveal in shot 6. The sharp luma drop at 10.50 s and return after 12.50 s make recurrence visible without speech.
