Why it works
The odd red costume and beige CRT make the scene readable at 0:00 without a title or voice. A fixed frame makes the 0:11–0:14 monitor entry and 0:23.7 appearance of a differently colored character easy to track. Its appeal rests mainly on the staged costume stunt; the measured second shot is only a 0.17-second black tail.
