Why it works
The macro reveal in shot 1 pulls back to ×0.22 scale, making one symbol recognizable before it appears in seven contrasting surface treatments. The sequence changes picture at frames 72, 137, 192, 275, 342 and 478, then carries the orb continuously across frame 556 before the hard card cut at frame 656. That delayed statement gives the visual comparison a clear payoff.
